An institution since 1947
Created in 1947, the Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne has become over the decades one of the most important events in the Grand Est and one of the largest fairs in France. Organized by the UCIA (Union Chalonnaise pour l'Initiative et l'Animation), it brings together over 200,000 visitors each year at the Capitole en Champagne, a modern and spacious exhibition center.
Over 800 exhibitors
The fair hosts over 800 exhibitors from various sectors: housing, automotive, gastronomy, crafts, agriculture, new technologies, well-being, and leisure. The agricultural village is one of the highlights of the event, showcasing farm animals and the know-how of Champagne agriculture. Visitors can discover local products, taste champagne, and local specialties.
Concerts and entertainment
Every evening, the Foire de Châlons offers free concerts with national artists, as part of the Foire en Scène festival. Family entertainment, shows, demonstrations, and workshops punctuate the eleven days of the fair, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere. Late-night openings are organized on Saturday evenings to extend the celebration.
A unifying event
The Foire de Châlons is more than just a trade fair: it is a true popular gathering that unites the inhabitants of the Marne and the Grand Est. It contributes to the economic and cultural dynamism of the region, attracting visitors and professionals from all over France. The 2026 edition will celebrate the 80th anniversary of this historic event.
