As every year, the City of Sète celebrates the National Day of July 14th (Tuesday, July 14th, 2026) with a big festive and free evening, punctuated by a fireworks display launched over the sea.
On Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, Sète celebrates the National Day in the tradition of the singular island: free musical entertainment, popular seaside atmosphere, and a large fireworks display launched from the beach.
According to the usual format proposed by the City of Sète, concerts and DJ sets liven up the open-air evening (generally Place Roger Thérond), before the grand finale: the fireworks display launched from Fontaine — Villeroy beach, visible from the beach and the adjacent esplanade. The evening then continues with music.
The event is entirely free and open to all. It attracts a large crowd every year: it is advisable to arrive early to secure a good spot.
