About Feuyas'tival

The Feuyas'tival was an eco-musical and multicultural festival nestled in the heart of Moulin de Feuyas in Dournazac, Haute-Vienne, on a preserved 30-hectare estate on the border of Limousin and Périgord. Created in 2018 and organized until 2022 (4th and last documented edition), this summer event combined contemporary music concerts, live shows, participatory workshops, nature activities, and environmental awareness within the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park. Three stages, emerging artists, paddleboarding, zip-lining, a pop-up artisan village, and a friendly atmosphere made it a unique event in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The organizing team has since announced the end of the adventure at Moulin de Feuyas; the festival is no longer held currently.

ℹ️ Festival discontinued. The Feuyas'tival is no longer held at Moulin de Feuyas in Dournazac. After several editions, the organizing team announced the definitive end of this beautiful adventure on this site, due to the complexity of logistical organization in a magnificent natural location that is not well suited to the constraints of such an event. The festival might one day be reborn elsewhere, in another form, but no new edition has been announced to date. This page is kept as an archive of the festival's history.

Feuyas'tival: an ecofestival in the heart of preserved nature

Nestled in a 30-hectare estate bordered by a pond and a dense forest, the Feuyas'tival was born in 2018 at Moulin de Feuyas, in Dournazac, on the borders of Haute-Vienne and Dordogne. This eco-musical and multicultural festival was conceived to offer an immersive festive experience in the heart of nature, far from major commercial circuits. Located in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, 45 minutes from Limoges, the event celebrated musical diversity, emerging artistic creation, and ecological commitment in a setting of exceptional wild beauty.

An eclectic and committed musical program

The strength of the Feuyas'tival lay in its more than 80% local program, which gave pride of place to emerging artists and varied musical scenes. Spread across three atypical stages integrated into the natural landscape, the concerts covered a wide spectrum: reggae, rock, electro, gypsy swing, cumbia, oriental music, folk, and dub. The 2022 edition notably welcomed Ryon (reggae), Bievers Valley (gypsy swing/latin/rock), Hibu/Carte Blanche (electropical/cumbia/disco/funk), Akan Khelen (oriental/electro-rock), Prain (rock), Waikiki Boys (electropical/cumbia), Najma (sax/electro) and a soundsystem to close the evenings.

A pop-up village and activities for everyone

Beyond music, the Feuyas'tival featured a free pop-up village every Saturday during the day, bringing together local artisans, wellness stands, creative workshops, and games for all ages. Festival-goers could enjoy remarkable free activities: paddleboarding on the pond, zip-lining over the forest, circus and street arts, yoga workshops, conferences on the environment, and an evening folk dance. The LPO Limousin (League for the Protection of Birds) regularly participated in the festival with workshops to raise awareness of local biodiversity. These activities made the Feuyas'tival much more than just a music festival: a true laboratory of cultural and natural discoveries.

An ecological commitment at the heart of the project

The preservation of the site and the reduction of the human footprint were the founding imperatives of the Feuyas'tival. Specific eco-responsible logistics were implemented at each edition: waste sorting, dry toilets, reusable cups, short-circuit catering favoring local producers, and active encouragement of carpooling. The festival was part of an environmental awareness approach that permeated the entire program, from conferences to practical workshops and guided nature walks on the Moulin de Feuyas estate.

A family-friendly and accessible event

With its accessible prices (weekend pass at 25 €, Saturday day free, free for children under 12), the Feuyas'tival appealed to a wide and family audience. The festival campsite was included in the ticket price, and numerous relaxation areas were set up on the estate. Carried by the Feuyas'tival association, chaired by Florian Schmidt and a team of passionate volunteers, this rural festival embodied an alternative and committed vision of celebration in Haute-Vienne.

ℹ️ 2026 edition cancelled — festival discontinued. The Feuyas'tival is no longer held at Moulin de Feuyas in Dournazac. After several editions, the organizing team announced that they were definitively ending the adventure on this site, due to the logistical complexity of a magnificent natural location that was poorly suited to the constraints of such an event. No 2026 edition is planned or announced by the organizers.

The last publicly documented edition dates back to August 2022 (4th edition). This page is kept as an archive of the festival's history.

ℹ️ 2026 edition cancelled — event discontinued. The Feuyas'tival will not take place in 2026 at Moulin de Feuyas. The organizing association announced that after several editions, it was ending this festive adventure on this site, deemed magnificent but logistically difficult to operate. As a reminder, past editions of the Feuyas'tival took place in summer in the heart of a preserved 30-hectare estate in the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park: contemporary music concerts on atypical stages, an ephemeral artisan village, nature activities (paddle, zip line, yoga), participatory workshops, and local short-circuit catering.
