An Alsatian institution since 1948
Created in 1948 at the initiative of Alsatian wine professionals and the mayor of Colmar, Joseph Rey, the Foire aux Vins d'Alsace has become over the decades one of the major events in Eastern France. The third largest trade fair in the country after Paris and Marseille, it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each summer to the Parc des Expositions de Colmar for ten days of celebration, gastronomy, and music.
The Coquille festival: open-air concerts
The beating heart of the FAV is its open-air theater "la Coquille", a shell-shaped stage that can accommodate around 10,000 spectators. Every evening, national and international renowned artists perform in a unique atmosphere, between starry sky and Alsatian vineyards. The eclectic program mixes French variety, rap, rock, pop, electro, and DJ sets, making the FAV an essential musical event.
Over 1,500 wines to discover
The Foire aux Vins d'Alsace is above all a celebration of the Alsatian vineyard. More than 1,500 wines are presented by winemakers and houses from the region, from Riesling to Gewurztraminer, including Pinot Gris and Crémant d'Alsace. The oenological trail allows you to taste, compare, and buy directly from producers in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
A gastronomic and commercial fair
Beyond wine and music, the FAV brings together around 350 exhibitors in the halls of the Parc des Expositions: artisans, local producers, gastronomic stands, and shops. The agro-tourism park invites families to discover the Alsatian agricultural world, while restaurants and brasseries offer regional specialties — choucroute, tarte flambée, baeckeoffe — in a giant fair atmosphere.
The Off Stage and the FAV spirit
Complementing the main program, the Scène Off (Sofav) highlights Alsatian bands and artists every evening at 7 p.m., offering 45 minutes of concert in various genres: rock, folk, pop, electro. This discovery space embodies the spirit of the FAV: a popular, generous, and open festival for everyone, where the pleasure of music meets that of wine and Alsatian conviviality.

At the open-air theater « la Coquille », the 2026 program brings together Bigflo & Oli, Niska, Kool & The Gang, UB40, Christophe Maé, Claudio Capéo, Gims, Charlotte Cardin, Asaf Avidan, Mika, comedian Jarry and a big electro Nuit Blanche. More than 1,500 Alsace wines, 350 exhibitors and ten days of gastronomy and celebration complete this unmissable summer event.
The 77th edition of the Foire aux Vins d'Alsace
The 77th edition of the Foire aux Vins d'Alsace takes place from July 31st to August 9th, 2026 at the Parc des Expositions de Colmar, open daily from 11 AM to 1 AM.
The open-air festival of la Coquille offers a top-tier musical lineup every evening, blending French variety, rap, pop, rock, soul, and electro nights. Alongside the stage, more than 1,500 Alsace wines presented by local winemakers, 350 exhibitors in the halls, and the Agro-tourism Park make the FAV one of the largest fair-festivals in Eastern France.

Access
The Parc des Expositions is located north of Colmar, easily accessible.
- By car: A35 exit Colmar-Nord. Free parking at the Parc des Expositions.
- By train: Colmar station then special FAV shuttle or bus.
- By bus: Trace network, special FAV lines in the evening.
Opening Hours
Daily opening from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Agro-tourism park from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Open-air area until 9:30 p.m.
Entrance Fees
Before 1 p.m.: free. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.: €5. After 5 p.m.: €8. Fair entry does not grant access to the open-air theater (concerts).

Practical Advice
Arrive early to enjoy wine tastings before the concerts. The morning (free entry before 1 p.m.) is ideal for discovering exhibitors without the crowds. Prefer public transport or shuttles on concert evenings. The electro White Night on Saturday is a highlight for electronic music lovers.
