About Foire de L'Île-Rousse
The L'Île-Rousse Fair, or Fiera di Lisula, is one of the oldest fairs in Corsica (196th edition in 2025). It takes place every autumn, during the first days of October, on Place Paoli in the heart of L'Île-Rousse (Haute-Corse), and brings together artisans, exhibitors, a funfair, and free concerts.
The L'Île-Rousse Fair (Fiera di Lisula)
A major autumn event in Balagne, the L'Île-Rousse Fair — Fiera di Lisula in Corsican language — is among the oldest events on the island. Organized by the A Marinella Festival Committee under the aegis of the L'Île-Rousse town hall, it takes place every year in early October on Place Paoli and in the city center, lasting approximately five days.
A fair in three parts
The event is traditionally structured around three complementary areas:
- Crafts: around a hundred artisans and producers offer local crafts, Corsican products, gastronomy, ready-to-wear, and accessories.
- Festivities: on Place Paoli, refreshment stands run by local associations and entertainment throughout the day.
- Funfair: numerous rides and attractions for all ages.
Every evening, free concerts liven up Place Paoli, often showcasing the Corsican music scene.
Foire de L'Île-Rousse — edition 2026
La Fiera di Lisula (L'Île-Rousse Fair) is one of the oldest fairs in Corsica. Organized every autumn by the Comité des Fêtes A Marinella, it traditionally takes place during the first days of October on Place Paoli, in L'Île-Rousse (Haute-Corse). The 2026 edition is expected to fall within the same October period; the exact dates are yet to be confirmed by the organizers.
La Fiera di Lisula 2026
The L'Île-Rousse Fair, known as Fiera di Lisula, is an unmissable autumn event in Balagne. It takes place every year at the beginning of October on Place Paoli and in the town center of L'Île-Rousse, lasting approximately five days.
The event is usually organized around three areas: a market with about a hundred artisans (local crafts, Corsican products, gastronomy, ready-to-wear and accessories), festivities on Place Paoli (refreshment stands run by local associations, entertainment) and a large funfair with rides for all ages.
Every evening, free concerts are offered on Place Paoli (for reference, recent editions have hosted Duo Isulani, I Pignotti, Sumenta Nova, Panthères Roses, Boston Georges, Moca Music…).
2026 dates not yet officially confirmed. As the fair has always taken place during the first days of October (October 3 to 5, 2019, October 2 to 6, 2024, October 1 to 5, 2025), an equivalent period is expected for 2026. The program and precise dates will be communicated by the Comité des Fêtes A Marinella on its Facebook page.
