Pontivy is located in the heart of the Morbihan region, 50 minutes from Vannes via the N166, 50 minutes from Lorient via the D769, and 1.5 hours from Rennes via the N24. The La Plaine car park is located opposite the town hall, in the town center. Additional parking is available nearby.
Pontivy is served by the BreizhGo departmental bus lines from Vannes, Lorient, and Saint-Brieuc.

The Foire de Mars is open every day from 2 PM to 7 PM. Extended hours on Friday and Saturday evenings. Morning opening on some public holidays and school holidays.
Numerous food stalls are present on site: churros, waffles, crepes, cotton candy, hot dogs, and other fairground specialties.
