Music, gastronomy, and bouchot mussel festival in Hillion
Folies en Baie is a family-friendly, intergenerational festival organized every summer in the heart of Hillion, in the bay of Saint-Brieuc. A mix of live music, gastronomy — notably the famous bouchot mussel — and outdoor activities, the festival offers an eclectic three-day program with national headliners, local artists, free areas, and a gourmet and humorous Balade & Moules (Walk & Mussels) to discover local producers. With over 23,000 festival-goers in 2024, Folies en Baie has become a must-attend event in the Côtes-d'Armor.
Folies en Baie is a family and intergenerational festival held every first weekend of August in the village of Hillion, in Côtes-d'Armor. Since its creation, this summer event celebrates the culture, gastronomy, and heritage of the bay of Saint-Brieuc through three days of concerts, activities, and festivities.
The festival unfolds its program on three stages: a paid main stage hosting headliners, and two free areas open to all ages. The Balade & Moules, a signature of the festival, is a gourmet and humorous walk to discover local producers, before tasting the famous moules de bouchot from the bay. In 2024, over 2 tons of mussels and 2 tons of fries were served to festival-goers.
Over the years, Folies en Baie has hosted renowned national artists such as Yannick Noah, Maxime Le Forestier, Charlie Winston, Sinsemilia, Les Wampas, Les Negresses Vertes, Gilles Servat, and Aldebert, while also giving ample space to local bands and discoveries.
The festival takes place in the village of Hillion, 22120 Hillion.
