Biennial biker festival in Gérardmer in the Vosges (2026 edition not confirmed)
There is no edition scheduled in 2026 for this event. This page remains accessible to archive the history of the manifestation and will be updated if a new edition is announced.
The Gérardmer Motordays are a biennial biker festival organized by the AEM Gérardmer association at the foot of the La Mauselaine slopes, in the Vosges. Created in 2014, it has gathered up to 15,000 visitors during its last confirmed editions, around rock concerts under a big top, exhibitions of customized motorcycles (choppers, bobbers, showbikes), guided rides on the Vosges passes, and spectacular entertainment. An official Harley-Davidson event since 2016, the festival has experienced several successive postponements (Covid in 2020 and 2022). To date, the 2026 edition has not been confirmed by any official source.
ℹ️ 2026 Status uncertain. Despite a date initially mentioned for late May 2026, no official communication from the AEM Gérardmer association or the official website confirms the holding of a 2026 edition of the festival. The official website gerardmer-motordays.com publishes no program for 2026, and several third-party sources mention the absence of an edition this year. As the festival is historically biennial, a next edition could take place in 2027 — this page will be updated as soon as an official announcement is published. Before any travel, contact the organizer by email at [email protected] or consult the official Facebook page.
Created in 2014 by the AEM Gérardmer association, the Motordays quickly established themselves as one of the largest biker festivals in Eastern France. Founded in 2013 by Gérardmer personalities, event professionals, hoteliers, and motorbike enthusiasts, the association successfully gave birth to a major event in the heart of the Vosges. From its second edition in 2016, the festival became an official Harley-Davidson event, attracting up to 15,000 visitors from all over France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, and Great Britain.
During confirmed editions, the festival unfolds across three emblematic sites in Gérardmer. The main site is set up in the La Mauselaine car park, at the foot of the ski slopes, where a giant 1,500 m² marquee hosts around twenty concerts. The Harley Village, located in the Place des Déportés car park in the city center, offers a free-access area. Finally, the Americana village, on the shore of Lake Gérardmer, presents an exhibition of American cars and motorbike entertainment.
The musical program has been one of the historical pillars of the festival. Under the immense marquee of La Mauselaine, around twenty concerts punctuated the three days. Past editions have welcomed renowned artists: Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons (ex-guitarist of Motörhead), Les Fatals Picards, Ana Popovic, Little Bob, Manu Lanvin, Charles Pasi, and Johnny Gallagher. From pure rock to blues, including festive rock'n'roll, the program reflected the free and rebellious spirit of the biker world.
Beyond the music, the Motordays celebrated the passion for motorbikes in all its forms. More than fifty customized motorbikes — choppers, bobbers, café racers, and showbikes — were exhibited and judged by a prestigious jury. The 2016 edition was sponsored by singer Renaud, while comedian Bruno Solo sponsored the 2018 edition. Guided rides through the Vosges passes offered breathtaking panoramas, and trial shows, the mythical Wall of Death, and fire-breather shows completed a program rich in thrills. The Saturday evening fireworks display beautifully concluded each highlight day of the festival.
The festival has a biennial format and has experienced several successive postponements linked to the health crisis (2020 and 2022). Before any travel or booking plans, it is strongly advised to check for updates with the organizer via the official website, Facebook, or email.
