Between illusion and wonder in the heart of Finistère
The Guipavas Magic Festival is an unmissable annual event for illusionism enthusiasts in Brittany. Created in 2012 by magician Philippe Bonnemann, this festival hosts internationally renowned artists in the art of magic, illusion, and mentalism each year at the Salle Alizé. A family show par excellence, it features spectacular acts combining manipulation, grand illusions, humor, and poetry, in a magical and wondrous atmosphere accessible to all audiences from age 3.
Since 2012, the Guipavas Magic Festival has established itself as one of the major magic events in Brittany. Driven by the passion and expertise of Philippe Bonnemann, artistic director since the first edition, this festival brings together the best magicians, illusionists, and mentalists from the French and international scene each year at the Salle Alizé in Guipavas.
Each edition of the festival offers a two-hour show combining grand illusions, close-up magic, manipulation, mentalism, and humor. The invited artists are selected from the best in their field, often award-winners in major international magic competitions. Philippe Bonnemann hosts the show with his infectious humor, boundless energy, and innate sense of performance, turning each appearance into a festive moment.
The festival stands out for its commitment to accessibility. With daytime and evening performances, family-friendly prices, and open seating that allows everyone to fully enjoy the show, the Guipavas Magic Festival welcomes children from age 3 and adults alike in an atmosphere of shared wonder. The Salle Alizé offers optimal comfort with a capacity that allows for appreciated proximity to the artists.
