About Hydre Festival

The Théâtre de l'Hydre has been hosting this event since 2022, held on the first weekend of September at the confluence of the Vienne and Taurion rivers. Over two days, the stadium esplanade comes alive with socially conscious theatre, street performances, circus acts, and live music, all complemented by an open-access community village and artisan market.

  • 6:00 PM — Site opens, fanfare by La Manu
  • 6:30 PM — Opening remarks
  • 8:30 PM — Macabre Carnaval, Théâtre de l'Hydre (€15)
  • 10:30 PM — Talk and discussion, Donde Estan association (free)
  • 11:00 PM — Deadwood, concert (€5)
  • 1:30 AM — Site closes

Individual tickets starting at €5; Saturday pass €35; 2-day pass €50. Access to the community village and the festival site is free.
