2026
About International Film Festival of Ancestral Traditions and Shamanic Spiritualities
Every autumn, the Cinéma Le Grand Palais in Cahors dedicates three days to documentary films focused on ancestral spiritual traditions: shamanism, indigenous wisdom, sacred rituals, and traditional medicine from across the globe. Organized by the Cercle de Sagesse de l'Union des Traditions et Spiritualités Ancestrales, an association led by Patrick Dacquay, the event features ten screening modules followed by discussions with directors, anthropologists, researchers, and practitioners, all complemented by traditional music and ceremonial gatherings.
