A unique festival between jazz, wine, and gastronomy

Since 2004, the Festival Jazz à l'Hospitalet has been a unique summer event. Created by the renowned winemaker Gérard Bertrand, owner of Château l'Hospitalet, the festival offers five consecutive evenings of dinner-concerts each summer in the enchanting setting of a biodynamic wine estate, nestled in the heart of the Massif de la Clape, a protected natural area between Narbonne and the Mediterranean. The concept is unique: each evening begins with a gourmet dinner in the castle park, followed by a concert in the castle courtyard, and concludes with an after-party to extend the night.

Exceptional artists on stage

Despite its name, Jazz à l'Hospitalet has significantly broadened its programming over the years to welcome artists from all musical backgrounds: jazz, soul, funk, pop, French chanson, and world music. In 2025, the festival hosted Texas, Ibrahim Maalouf, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Michel Polnareff, and Christophe Maé. In 2024, for the 20th anniversary edition, the lineup included Pascal Obispo, Roberto Fonseca, Incognito, Cali, Anne Sila, Benabar, Nolwenn Leroy with Big Band Brass, and Gregory Porter.

Château l'Hospitalet: an exceptional wine estate

Château l'Hospitalet is a prestigious wine estate located on the Route de Narbonne-Plage, just 10 minutes from the center of Narbonne and 5 minutes from the A9 motorway. The estate, cultivated biodynamically, produces La Clape appellation wines recognized among the best in Languedoc. The festival benefits from this exceptional setting: concerts take place in the open-air castle courtyard, with the estate's vineyards and the Massif de la Clape as a backdrop. Chef Laurent Chabert creates gourmet menus paired with Gérard Bertrand's wines, offering a complete sensory experience.

The all-inclusive package includes the gourmet dinner in the park, the concert in the castle courtyard, and the after-party.
