Since 2016, the Kestu Bouine ? festival has enlivened the towns of Marçon and Chahaignes in southern Sarthe every spring. Created by the association Mnambule, founded in 2010 and based in La Chartre-sur-le-Loir, this unique event defines itself as a popular agri-cultural festival, a concept that perfectly reflects its philosophy: to weave links between the agricultural world, culture, and the inhabitants of the region.

A rich and eclectic program

Each edition of Kestu Bouine ? offers a dense and varied program:

• Concerts: several bands playing contemporary music, world music, French chanson, and festive music perform outdoors
• Producers' market: local producers and artisans showcase their skills and products from the Sarthe region
• Association village: local associations set up information and awareness stands

Despite setbacks – the 2024 edition, disrupted by rain, resulted in a significant deficit – the team of volunteers continues to carry this project with passion and determination.
