Gallic village music festival in Quimper
L'Irréductible Festival was born in 2023 from the desire of a group of friends from Quimper to create a festival with a unique atmosphere, inspired by the world of the irreducible Gauls. Located outdoors on the outskirts of Quimper, on the chemin de Keromen, the festival immerses festival-goers in a real Gallic village recreated with spectacular decorations and a festive and friendly atmosphere.
In just three editions, L'Irréductible Festival has attracted top-tier artists. The program mixes rock, French chanson, Celtic music, electro, and pop in a spirit of musical diversity. The 2025 edition hosted artists such as Caravan Palace, Étienne de Crécy, La Ruda, Laura Cox, 47Ter, Gringe, and Diva Faune, while the 2026 edition announces ZAZ, Tagada Jones, Julien Clerc, Matmatah, Skip The Use, and Vladimir Cauchemar.
Since 2024, the festival has featured the Chap' Electro, a space dedicated to electronic music with spectacular scenography by Breizh Audio. This stage runs continuously from 9 pm to 3 am, offering festival-goers total immersion in electronic sounds after the main stage concerts. This initiative was a huge success from its first year.
L'Irréductible Festival benefits from the support of the City of Quimper and Quimper Bretagne Occidentale, which recognize its positive impact on the region. The festival offers a cashless system, shuttle services, facilities for people with reduced mobility, and welcomes volunteers. Free camping and access to the Pass Culture for 15-18 year olds demonstrate the festival's commitment to accessibility.
