Since 2022, the Ferme-Théâtre de Bellevue, nestled in the Berry countryside near Valençay, has been hosting La Fine Équipe, an outdoor burlesque show that has won over an ever-growing audience. Produced by Caméléon Production and directed by Jean-Christian Fraiscinet, this show combines comedy, emotion, and energy in a natural and authentic setting.

The Story: A Fine Team of Resistance Fighters

We are in July 1944, in the small hamlet of Bellevue. Since the beginning of the war, a band of resistance fighters has found refuge there with a crucial mission: to blow up a bridge to slow down the German columns advancing towards Normandy after the Allied landings. But these resistance fighters are not exactly the most organized...

The sudden arrival of three Parisian aristocrats in flight disrupts the plans of this "fine team". Between misunderstandings, clumsiness, and moments of unexpected heroism, the comedy unfolds in the farmyard, blending burlesque humor with a sensitive and brilliant evocation of this historical period.

A Life-Size Show

La Fine Équipe mobilizes an impressive cast: about ten professional actors and nearly 80 volunteer extras, along with period vehicles and farm animals. The show is performed in the courtyard of the Ferme-Théâtre de Bellevue, a natural setting that gives the performance a unique immersive dimension. The original music composed by Hervé Devolder accompanies the action and enhances the atmosphere, which is sometimes comical, sometimes moving.

Dinner-Show: A Complete Experience

In addition to the show alone, the organizers offer a dinner-show package that begins at 7:00 PM with Le Bal des Résistants, an animated dinner in the atmosphere of the time. Guests share a convivial meal before attending the performance at 9:00 PM. This complete package transforms the evening into a true immersive experience lasting several hours.
