La Loupe Fait Son Festival is the popular music event in La Loupe, a small town in Eure-et-Loir at the gateway to the Perche eurélien. The La Loupe town hall website, while up-to-date with local news, does not mention the festival, nor do the calendars of the Parc naturel régional du Perche or the Agenda du Perche, which list a dozen events in La Loupe for the second half of 2026. Visitors looking for a 2026 edition will find no trace of it; the event seems to have faded away under this name after 2019, without any formal announcement of its cancellation.

Saint-Thibault, the major festive weekend that remains

The Saint-Thibault patronal festival remains the highlight of the summer in La Loupe, taking place in early July. Its most recent documented edition was held on July 5th and 6th, 2025: on Saturday, a paella evening in the Château park was followed by fireworks; on Sunday, the town center hosted a garage sale, a car show, a clearance sale, a book fair, a brass band, and a parade. The Saint-Thibault weekend traditionally includes concerts, a wrestling gala, a street soccer tournament, sports activities, a collector's exhibition, and a pedal car race.

An event supported by the municipality and local associations

Both the Saint-Thibault festival and the music festival rely on the municipality of La Loupe, its festival committee, local associations, merchants, and volunteers. This community-based organization explains the flexibility of the format: the patronal festival continues through the years, while the musical portion, which is more complex to organize, ceased after 2019.

La Loupe, gateway to the Perche eurélien

Located in the heart of the Perche eurélien, La Loupe is known for its forest and natural heritage. The town is situated on the road connecting Chartres to Nogent-le-Rotrou, about 40 kilometers from Chartres, and has a train station served by TER trains on the Paris-Montparnasse – Le Mans line. The Château park, which hosts the major Saint-Thibault evenings, offers a green setting right in the town center.
