The 20th edition of La Patate en Fête takes place on Sunday, September 6th, 2026, in the town center of Jarnages. Featuring a flea market and garage sale from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, a meal under the market hall, four potato-themed contests, and two free concerts: Les Ducs and the Team Borala'Brasil batucada.

The Vivre à Jarnages association is hosting its twentieth Patate en Fête on Sunday, September 6th, 2026, in the town center. The official poster promises a "gourmet and festive gathering in the heart of the Creuse."
The flea market and garage sale run throughout the day, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, featuring 100 to 200 private and professional vendors. Reservations are required by calling 06 07 51 85 28, at a rate of 3 € per linear meter. Please note that clothing and toys are not permitted at the stalls; however, a second-hand clothing stand run by Maison du Bonheur will be set up at Place de l'église. The regular Sunday morning market will be held at Place du Bicentenaire.
Meals will be served under the market hall, featuring grilled meats, fondu-frites, potato pâté, crepes, and ice cream. Four contests are open to everyone, with prizes for all: potato drawing, potato carving, potato peeling, and the biggest potato. Entries should be brought to the dedicated stand on the day. Two free concerts are scheduled: Les Ducs, who will be roaming the site, and Team Borala'Brasil, featuring a batucada, Brazilian dancers, and a giant puppet.
