Every year for several decades, the La Rochelle Expo Fair marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. Held at the Châtelaillon-Plage racecourse, it attracts thousands of visitors eager to discover the commercial and artisanal offerings of the region and beyond.

The La Rochelle Exhibition Fair returns from August 29th to September 6th, 2026 at the Hippodrome de Châtelaillon-Plage. Nine days of exhibition fair with approximately 200 exhibitors spread over 11,000 m².
La Rochelle Exhibition Fair 2026
From August 29th to September 6th, 2026, the Hippodrome de Châtelaillon-Plage hosts the La Rochelle Exhibition Fair, organized by the Comité des Fêtes, Foires et Salons de La Rochelle.
The fair brings together approximately 200 exhibitors over 11,000 m² across three main themes: home and home improvement, outdoor leisure and gardening, as well as furniture and interior decoration. Activities, demonstrations, and workshops punctuate each day.
A catering village offers several restaurants open in the evening, with varied cuisines. A large free car park is available on site, accessible by car as well as by public transport (bus and Châtelaillon-Plage train station).
