La Salbriscénie: a grandiose show by the pond
La Salbriscénie is a large-scale pyrotechnic and musical show that takes place every August 15th in Salbris, on the edge of the communal pond. Created in 2024 by the City of Salbris, this ambitious show retraces the Great History of Salbris in five spectacular scenes, transporting spectators through the eras that have marked this Sologne city.
Five scenes for five eras
La Salbriscénie offers a journey through time in five acts, from the ancient origins of the city to contemporary times. Each scene is staged with fireworks, music, pyrotechnic effects, and stunt performances. Narrators and storytellers guide the audience through the key moments of Salbrisian history, while the artists bring the historical scenes to life.
Stuntmen, horses, and floats
La Salbriscénie features professional stuntmen from the troupe Pégase Prod, specializing in equestrian shows and historical stunts. Horses and floats participate in the show, creating scenes of great visual intensity. This collaboration with professionals in equestrian shows naturally fits Salbris's identity, which also hosts the Salera Festival dedicated to ancient reenactment.
An exceptional natural setting
The show takes place on the edge of Salbris's communal pond, offering a magnificent natural setting for pyrotechnic displays. The reflections of the fireworks on the water create a striking visual effect that amplifies the magic of the show. The communal pond is located near the town center, making it easily accessible for spectators.
A festive and popular event
Organized on August 15th, La Salbriscénie is part of the summer national holiday festivities. The event attracts a large audience from Salbris and all over Sologne. The evening begins with entertainment and concludes with the grand pyrotechnic show, in a warm and festive atmosphere typical of Solognote celebrations.
