A festival born in the Nice hinterland
The Broc Festival was born in 2019 at the Théâtre de Verdure du Broc, an open-air amphitheater nestled on a hillside in the Nice hinterland. Organized by Directo Prod in partnership with the commune du Broc, this exceptional natural setting, located at the crossroads of the Var valley and the Provençal hills, offers a unique atmosphere where music resonates under a starry sky. In just a few editions, the festival has established itself as a major summer event in the region.
The Théâtre de Verdure, a natural setting
The Théâtre de Verdure du Broc, located at 275 route de Nice, is an open-air performance venue with a natural topography, offering remarkable acoustics and a panoramic view of the valley. Its human-scale capacity allows for a rare proximity to the artists, creating a connection between the stage and the audience that is the charm of the festival.
An eclectic and international program
Le Broc Festival focuses on an eclectic and international program that spans musical genres: funk, jazz, world music, reggae, chanson française, and contemporary music. Over the editions, the festival has hosted renowned artists such as Amadou et Mariam, CharlÉlie Couture, Michel Fugain, Alain Chamfort, Charlie Winston, Ana Popovic, as well as emerging artists from the local French Riviera scene.
Les Apér'Off: the village party
A new feature of recent editions, the Apér'Off extend the festival into the village streets with a series of free open-air concerts. These musical events, offered in the early evening in the squares of Le Broc, allow visitors to discover the village's heritage to the rhythm of music, featuring local artists and friendly entertainment.

Le Broc Festival cultivates the spirit of a village celebration. Local catering, a refreshment stand with local products, and a relaxed atmosphere make each edition a moment of sharing and conviviality. The village of Le Broc, perched at an altitude of 450 meters and just 25 minutes from Nice, offers a complete change of scenery for festival-goers seeking authenticity.
Le Broc Festival — edition 2026
The 7th edition of Le Broc Festival will take place from June 26 to 28, 2026 at the Théâtre de Verdure du Broc, in the Nice hinterland. The program includes: three evenings of open-air concerts with international artists — Brooklyn Funk Essentials (New York funk/jazz/hip-hop), Eliades Ochoa (Cuban son, Buena Vista Social Club) and Groundation (Californian reggae) — each preceded by a local opening act. New this year: the Apér'Off, a series of free concerts in the village streets starting June 23.
2026 Edition: groove, roots and stars
For its 7th edition, Le Broc Festival returns with three evenings of concerts at the Théâtre de Verdure, celebrating world music, funk and reggae. Each evening opens with a local opening act, highlighting the talents of the French Riviera.
The Apér'Off: the party starts in the streets
New for 2026, the Apér'Off offers a series of 100% free concerts in the village streets and squares, allowing you to discover Le Broc's heritage through music:
- Wednesday, June 23 — Jeyo Sun (festive Latin music) · Place de la Fontaine
- Wednesday, June 25 — Ensemble classes from Le Broc music school · Place de la Ferrage
- Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 at 6:30 PM — Musical strolls with Radio Mezcal and 2TL Reggae Mobil

- Eliades Ochoa — Emblematic figure of the Buena Vista Social Club, the most famous Cuban singer brings his fiery rhythms and warm voice. A living legend of Cuban son and salsa.

- Groundation — Californian roots reggae band led by Harrison Stafford, known for its hypnotic rhythms and stage energy. Touring with their album Candle Burning.
