Breaking the Winter Doldrums

The Jardin d'Hiver du Michel is the winter version of the famous Jardin du Michel, a contemporary music festival in Toul that brings together over 20,000 festival-goers each May. Every February, L'Arsenal de Toul transforms into a festive bubble to host two evenings of concerts where the energy of punk, the groove of ska, and alternative rock warm hearts and bodies in the heart of the Lorraine winter.

Two Evenings of Pure Energy

2026 Edition

The 2026 edition, held on February 6th and 7th, featured an exceptional lineup:

Friday, February 6th: Marcel et son Orchestre (festive ska-punk), Babylon Circus (committed ska-rock), Los Tres Puntos (Mediterranean ska-punk), and La P'tite Soeur (alterno-bistro chanson).

Saturday, February 7th: The Toy Dolls (legendary punk from England), Les 3 Fromages (festive rock), Sugar & Tiger with Didier Wampas (pop-punk), and M.O.K.O. (electro-punk).

A Unique Atmosphere

L'Arsenal de Toul, a performance venue located in a former military building, offers an atypical and warm setting for these evenings. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the party continues until 1:30 AM, giving festival-goers time to enjoy each artist in an atmosphere of festive communion.

Le Jardin du Michel, 20 Years of Celebration

Le Jardin d'Hiver is part of the history of Le Jardin du Michel, a festival created in 2005 that celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025 with 24,000 festival-goers. Organized by SCIC Turbullance, the festival has become a pillar of the Lorraine music scene and a national reference for alternative and festive music.

A Friendly Indoor Festival

As an indoor event, Le Jardin d'Hiver offers a more intimate experience than its larger summer counterpart, with a reduced capacity that fosters proximity between the audience and the artists. This setup creates a special, intense, and communicative energy, making each evening a unique moment of musical sharing.

L'Arsenal de Toul

Located at 15 avenue du Colonel Péchot in Toul, L'Arsenal is a versatile performance venue that hosts concerts, shows, and cultural events throughout the year. For Le Jardin d'Hiver, it adorns itself with its most festive attire, with careful decoration, bars, and on-site catering.
