About Les femmes s'exposent
Since 2018, the "Les femmes s'exposent" festival has been bringing the work of professional photographers to the public spaces of Houlgate, displaying prints along the promenade Roland-Garros and throughout the seaside town. These open-air exhibitions are free to visit from June through September. The association, led by president Béatrice Tupin, also awards prizes and residency grants to emerging photographers with the support of the DRAC Normandie.
Les femmes s'exposent — edition 2026
For its 9th edition, the festival presents twelve open-air exhibitions exploring climate change, technological promises, and the hidden costs of globalization, featuring works by photographers such as Véronique de Viguerie and the duo Cooper & Gorfer. The opening weekend, from June 5th to 7th, 2026, will feature guided tours, meet-and-greets, lectures, and book signings with the artists.
