Free concerts by the Lot

Each summer, the town of Villeneuve-sur-Lot organizes Les Musi'Cale(s), a series of free open-air concerts that punctuate the Wednesday evenings of July and August. This summer musical event, which has become a must-see in the cultural landscape of Lot-et-Garonne, attracts thousands of spectators each year who come to enjoy a varied program in an exceptional setting on the banks of the Lot river.

Two emblematic venues

The program unfolds across two distinct sites, each offering a unique atmosphere:

• La Cale de la Marine: located on the banks of the Lot, in the heart of the bastide town, this intimate stage can accommodate up to 1,400 spectators for concerts at 9:30 PM. The riverside setting lends a unique atmosphere to each evening.
• Parc Saint-Cyr: this green space can accommodate a larger audience for national and international headliners, in a festive open-air atmosphere.

An eclectic and popular program

Les Musi'Cale(s) offers a varied musical program mixing national renowned artists, regional bands, and tribute shows. The diversity of musical genres – French chanson, pop, rock, world music – appeals to a wide audience, from families to music lovers.

Over the years, the festival has hosted major artists from the French and international scene:

• 2023 Edition: Cats on Trees, Kyo, Mouss et Hakim
• 2024 Edition: Gilbert Montagné, Black M, Saults, as well as tributes to Céline Dion, Nino Ferrer, Téléphone, and Supertramp
• 2025 Edition: Sheila, Magic System, Tribute 123 Goldman, tribute show to Johnny Hallyday
