Traveling festival of world music in Sud-Gironde
For over 30 years, Les Nuits Atypiques have been traveling through Sud-Gironde with an eclectic and unique program. This traveling festival takes over the most unusual places in the Gironde countryside: castles, churches, barns, riverbanks, village squares.
The atypical caravan unfolds in more than fifteen towns between June and July: Podensac, Saint-Symphorien, Saint-Maixant, Saint-Macaire, Préchac, and many others. Each stop offers a different setting and a unique atmosphere, combining the discovery of rural heritage with a quality artistic program.
With about twenty events per edition, the festival offers world music concerts, live performances, film screenings, dance, and participatory workshops. The program celebrates cultural diversity and encounters between musical traditions.
Les Nuits Atypiques actively contribute to the cultural animation of the rural territories of Sud-Gironde, by creating social connections and valuing local heritage.
