About Musica Vir'live
Musica Vir'Live is a family-friendly music festival held biennially in Virelade, Gironde, since 2007. It is funded by the Virelade Town Hall and organized by local associations, coordinated by Les Loges Virelart'daise, in partnership with the CCAS, the Gironde Department, and the CDC Convergence Garonne. The two-evening program at the Complexe sportif Paul Faubet features concerts, brass bands, open stages for young talent, and activities for children.
The event is non-profit: all proceeds from the bar and food stalls are donated to the organizing associations and the Virelade CCAS. The 2026 edition, taking place on September 11th and 12th, is free of charge.

Musica Vir'Live returns to Virelade for its biennial event on Friday, September 11th, and Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at the Complexe sportif Paul Faubet. The 2026 lineup features free admission, with doors opening at 5:30 PM on both days.
Headliners
Chef and the Gang, the pop-rock cover band led by chef Philippe Etchebest, performs on Friday at 10:15 PM. Sansévérino closes the show on Saturday at 10:30 PM, blending gypsy swing, electric rock, blues, and tango. The O C'est Nous concert on Friday at 8:00 PM is part of the Scènes d'été en Gironde series, funded by the Gironde Department and the CDC Convergence Garonne.
Open stages and bandas
Each evening kicks off with an open stage for young talents at 6:00 PM on Friday and 6:30 PM on Saturday. Batucada Borboleta brings Brazilian percussion to the stage on Friday at 10:00 PM, while the banda La Txaranga « Los Aliados » performs twice on Saturday, at 7:00 PM and 10:15 PM. Both nights conclude with a live DJ set by DJ Shaman at the bar at 11:30 PM.

All profits from the food and drink stalls are donated to the participating local associations. Access and location
The festival takes place at the Complexe sportif Paul Faubet in Virelade (33720), South Gironde. Virelade is accessible from Bordeaux via the A62 (Podensac exit) or the N113.

A biennial music festival in South Gironde
Musica Vir'Live is the premier musical event in the town of Virelade, South Gironde. Established in 2007, it returns every two years to the Complexe sportif Paul Faubet for two nights of concerts, brass bands, and open stages.
Community-driven organization
The festival is funded by the Virelade Town Hall and coordinated by the Les Loges Virelart'daise association. The Gironde Department and the CDC Convergence Garonne sponsor the Scènes d'été en Gironde concert held on Friday evening. Around ten local associations manage the reception, bar, and catering: A L'Unichoeur, 2 Pas de Danse, Avirbol, the Virelade Parents' Association, the Virelade Shooting Club, the Pétanque Vireladaise, the Virelade Hunting Society, Temps Libre Vireladais, and the Tennis Club du Rieufret. All profits are donated to them, as well as to the Virelade CCAS.
