About Musica Vir'live
Festival Musica Vir'Live is a family music festival held every two years in Virelade, Gironde, since 2007. Organized by the association Les Loges Virelart'daise with the support of the Virelade Town Hall, the Gironde Department, the CDC Convergence Garonne, and the CCAS, each edition brings together a local and family audience around concerts, entertainment, and live shows at the Paul Faubet Sports Complex.
The non-profit event donates all profits from the refreshment stand and catering to the organizing associations and the Virelade CCAS. Part of the festival (Friday evening and Saturday day) is entirely free; only the three concerts on Saturday evening require paid access.
A biennial music festival in the heart of Sud Gironde
Festival Musica Vir'Live is a biennial family cultural event in the commune of Virelade, in Sud Gironde. Since its creation in 2007, every two years it offers a varied musical program — rock, reggae, ska, pop, electro, world — designed to bring together residents, families, and music lovers in a friendly setting.
An associative and solidarity-based organization
The event is coordinated by the association Les Loges Virelart'daise, in partnership with the Virelade Town Hall, the Gironde Department, the Communauté de Communes Convergence Garonne, and the municipal CCAS. Local associations and numerous volunteers ensure hospitality, the refreshment stand, and catering, the proceeds of which are entirely donated to Virelade's associative network and the CCAS.
A mixed free and paid format
The festival spans two days, Friday and Saturday. The majority of the program (Friday evening + Saturday day) is free and open to all, with family entertainment, open stages, inflatable structures for children, and discovery concerts. Only access to the three concerts on Saturday evening is paid (8 € per person, free for children under 10).
A family setting and local roots
The Paul Faubet Sports Complex, in Virelade, serves as the setting for the festival. The family-oriented format, the free access to a large part of the program, and the involvement of local associations make Musica Vir'Live a characteristic event of communal cultural life in Sud Gironde.

Musica Vir'Live returns in September 2026
After the 2024 edition, the Musica Vir'Live Festival makes its return to Virelade for its biennial event in September 2026. The event takes place at the Paul Faubet Sports Complex, coordinated by the association Les Loges Virelart'daise with the Virelade Town Hall and local associations.
A free / paid format
Friday evening and Saturday day offer free access to family entertainment, open stages for young talents, and inflatable structures for children. The three Saturday evening concerts are paid access (8 €/person, free for children under 10).
An edition for the benefit of local associations
As with each edition, all profits from the refreshment stand and catering will be donated to the organizing associations and the CCAS of Virelade. The festival is supported by volunteers from Virelade associations, in partnership with the Gironde Department and the CDC Convergence Garonne.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be unveiled by the organizers before summer. Several concerts and support events have already taken place during the first half of 2026 (LKO & Fred Batista concert in March, support bingo in May) to finance the upcoming edition.
