About The Grand Festival
Every mid-September, La Grande Fête brings together open-air cinema, big-top concerts, street art, and fireworks at the Plaine des sports in Ayguemorte-les-Graves, south of Bordeaux. Organized by the BIC des Graves association, the event spans three consecutive days from Friday to Sunday, featuring highlights like a soapbox derby and a traditional Sunday banquet. Admission is free for the entire festival.

Practical information — The Grand Festival
Admission is free for all three days. Food and drinks are available on-site. The Plaine des sports is located at 58 avenue du Général de Gaulle in Ayguemorte-les-Graves, approximately fifteen minutes south of Bordeaux.
A village celebration with a festival spirit
La Grande Fête follows a beloved tradition each year: kicking off on Friday evening with a welcome drink hosted by the municipality, followed by an outdoor movie screening and a fireworks display. Saturday is dedicated to live music and street performances, while Sunday offers a more community-focused atmosphere with a banquet and a soapbox derby. The 7th edition will take place from September 11th to 13th, 2026.
The festival is held at the Plaine des sports in Ayguemorte-les-Graves, located about fifteen minutes south of Bordeaux, and is organized by the BIC des Graves association.
