Bresse celebrates

The adventure of Nuits Bressanes began in 2012, when Dominique Prudent convinced his friend Julien Clerc to come and sing at the Stade de Bram in Louhans. It was a daring bet: to organize a major music festival in a small Bresse town of 6,000 inhabitants, known until then for its famous Monday market — the oldest in France, attested since the 13th century — and for its AOC poultry. The success was immediate and has not waned.

The greatest voices of French song

In over a decade, the festival has hosted the biggest names on the French scene: Johnny Hallyday, Francis Cabrel, Patrick Bruel, Florent Pagny, Zazie, Kendji Girac, Gims, Zaz, M. Pokora, Grand Corps Malade, Calogero, Pascal Obispo, Slimane, and Laurent Gerra. With a capacity of 6,500 seats, the Stade de Bram offers exceptional proximity to the artists, far from impersonal mega-festivals.

A festival rooted in its terroir

Les Nuits Bressanes is more than just a music festival: it is a celebration of Bresse bourguignonne and its way of life. Local food, friendly atmosphere, discovery of Bressan heritage — the festival is deeply rooted in its territory. Since 2013, the Soirées Bressanes have highlighted young regional talents from Saône-et-Loire, Ain, and Jura as opening acts for the headliners.

Undiminished success

In eleven editions, Les Nuits Bressanes has attracted over one million spectators and has established itself as one of the highlights of the French musical summer. The festival continues to grow while preserving the warm and family-friendly spirit that makes it unique.
