A unique summer festival

Since 2008, Pique-Niques Kerhorres has been transforming the streets, squares, meadows, and woods of Le Relecq-Kerhuon into ephemeral artistic stages. Born from the will of the municipality and Le Fourneau National Center for Street Arts and Public Spaces, this summer festival offers an original concept: combining the discovery of street arts with the pleasure of a shared picnic in public spaces.

An eclectic program

Spectators are invited to bring their picnic baskets to fully enjoy these convivial evenings. Artistic performances generally begin after the shared meal, around 8:30 PM. The program showcases all disciplines of street arts: aerial circus with spectacular contortion acts, poetic and quirky street theater, circus concerts mixing Persian music and acrobatics, sensitive clown performances, and many other innovative artistic creations.

In the heart of the neighborhoods

Pique-Niques Kerhorres unfolds in various locations in the town: Cale du Passage, Place de la Résistance, Parc du Gué Fleuri, and other public spaces in the commune. This itinerancy allows all neighborhoods to be enlivened and to reach all residents. Each edition offers several events throughout the summer, creating magical moments of artistic emotion to share with family or friends.

A free and accessible event

Completely free, this festival is part of an approach to access culture for all. It values the concept of public space as a place for sharing, meeting, and artistic discovery. Pique-Niques Kerhorres is the result of a strong partnership between the community and a major cultural player in the region, illustrating the territory's commitment to street arts and local cultural animation.
