Les Plages Musicales: a festival with your feet in the sand

Since 2021, the Les Plages Musicales festival has enlivened the summer in Damgan, a seaside resort in Morbihan, with a day dedicated to music and conviviality. Organized by the Vague A Bond association, this event combines free daytime activities and professional evening concerts, all facing the Atlantic Ocean and along the Boulevard de l'Océan.

An eclectic and festive program

The program of Les Plages Musicales explores a wide and danceable musical palette. The 2026 edition (6th edition) will notably feature Soviet Suprem (electro, hip-hop, Balkan sounds), La Phaze (drum'n'bass, punk, electronic), The Bloyet Brothers (funk, groove, fusion), Solar Project (dance electro), and a DJ Set by the Frères Jackfruit. The festival favors artists from Brittany and the Greater West of France.

Free daytime activities

During the day, Les Plages Musicales offers a program of free activities open to all: participatory workshops, activities for children, association stands, and moments of sharing around environmental themes. The Vague A Bond association launches a call for projects each year to invite local residents and associations to propose activities, strengthening the participatory and civic dimension of the festival.

An exceptional maritime setting

Located at the Damgan Skate Park, on the Boulevard de l'Océan facing the SNSM station, the festival benefits from an exceptional maritime setting. Festival-goers enjoy concerts with views of the sea and the Morbihan coastline, in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. Damgan beach and the coastal paths offer an ideal natural backdrop for this summer musical day.

An eco-responsible and participatory festival

The festival is committed to an eco-responsible approach, with a focus on waste management, short supply chains for catering, and environmental awareness. The participatory and volunteer spirit is at the heart of the project, with many volunteers mobilized for the organization and reception of the public.
