Vignes Toquées 2026 — 16th edition on June 6 and 7, 2026
The 16th edition of Vignes Toquées takes place on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026. For this new edition, the Syndicat des Vignerons des Costières de Nîmes sets up its route in the heart of the Petite Camargue: starting from the Cave de Gallician (Vauvert), arriving at the Mas du Notaire, on a route of approximately 7 to 8 km through the vineyard.
Chef Julien Caligo in charge of the menu
Nîmes-based chef Julien Caligo, at the helm of the Monique restaurant in Calvisson (1 Michelin star one year after its opening), signs the gastronomic creation for the 2026 edition. Having worked in the kitchens of Michel Rostang, Pierre Gagnaire, La Villa Madie, and Le Castellas, and previously holding two stars at Duende in Nîmes, he offers a revisited street-food interpretation of local produce: red tuna and smoked eggplant tartlet, AOP Camargue bull "hot-dog" style, and other creative nods in dialogue with the appellation's wines.
6 stages, 35 winemakers, 3,400 participants
The route is punctuated by 6 tasting stations where about thirty Costières de Nîmes winemakers present their wines and where the chef's six creations are served. With approximately 3,400 participants expected over the weekend, the event remains one of the most popular in the Gard vineyard.
Format and schedule
Participants, equipped with their glass and tasting booklet, depart in groups of 100 people, with staggered departures every fifteen minutes from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The walk lasts several hours, punctuated by musical entertainment throughout the route.

Les Vignes Toquées, a gourmet walk in the Costières de Nîmes
Les Vignes Toquées is one of the major oenological and gastronomic events in the Gard region. Organised annually by the Syndicat des Vignerons des Costières de Nîmes (AOC Costières de Nîmes), this festive walk takes over 3,000 wine and food lovers through the vineyard, on a route of approximately 7 to 8 kilometres between vines, farmhouses (mas) and cellars.
The principle: walk, taste, share
The concept is simple and appealing. Equipped with their glass and tasting booklet, participants set off in groups of 100, staggered every fifteen minutes throughout the morning. Along the route, 6 tasting stages punctuate the walk: at each one, a Michelin-starred chef offers a dish specially designed for the event, in harmony with the vintages presented by the winemakers. More than 35 vintages from the AOC Costières de Nîmes are available to taste during the walk, accompanied by musical entertainment.
An itinerant vineyard
The event changes location each year to showcase the diversity of the appellation's landscapes. Depending on the edition, the departure takes place from Mas Carlot (between Manduel and Bellegarde), the Cave de Gallician in Vauvert, or other emblematic estates of the Costières. This itinerant dimension makes Les Vignes Toquées a true living postcard of the Gard vineyard, between Costières and Petite Camargue.
A leading gastronomic event
Each edition honours a Michelin-starred chef who signs the menu. Sébastien Rath, Julien Caligo, and other great names in regional cuisine have succeeded one another at the table of this walk, which brings together the best of the Gard terroir: wines, local products, winemakers' expertise, and culinary creativity.
