Open-air concerts in the historic cloister of Campo Santo in Perpignan
Created in 2016, Live au Campo is an open-air concert festival held in the exceptional setting of the Campo Santo, a former medieval cloister-cemetery from the 14th century in the heart of Perpignan. Each year, the festival offers several evenings of concerts mixing French variety, pop, rock, electro, and world music, in a friendly and festive atmosphere. In 2025, the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exceptional autumn edition under a panoramic dome.
Since 2016, Live au Campo has transformed Perpignan's Campo Santo into an open-air concert venue each year. This 14th-century medieval cloister-cemetery, a listed historic monument, offers a unique architectural setting for unforgettable concert evenings.
The Campo Santo, cloister-cemetery of Saint-Jean, was built in the first third of the 14th century. Since 1994, under the impetus of Mayor Jean-Paul Alduy, this heritage site has been opened to live performances, becoming the beating heart of Perpignan's summer nights. The Gothic arcades and stone walls create remarkable acoustics and an intimate, warm atmosphere.
Live au Campo offers a resolutely popular program, mixing the biggest names in French chanson and the international scene. The festival hosts variety, pop, rock, electro, reggae, and world music artists, offering several evenings of concerts with a friendly atmosphere, gourmet stands, and local bars.
Throughout its editions, Live au Campo has hosted numerous renowned artists on the Campo Santo stage, offering concerts in an intimate and historic setting unique in its kind.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Live au Campo is offering an exceptional edition in November 2025, moving from summer to autumn. Four standing evenings under a panoramic dome installed in the Campo Santo, with spectacular light shows, gourmet stands, and local bars.
Live au Campo contributes to the cultural influence of Perpignan and the animation of its historic center. The festival participates in the city's event dynamic, alongside other major Perpignan cultural events.
The 2026 edition of Live au Campo will take place in July 2026 at Campo Santo in Perpignan, marking the festival's return to its traditional summer season after the autumn anniversary edition of 2025. The lineup will be announced later.
