This popular flea market attracts visitors from all over Essonne and neighboring departments, who stroll among the stalls in search of a rare gem or a simple nostalgic item.

From April 27 to May 3, 2026, Marolles-en-Hurepoix lives to the rhythm of its great communal festival organized by the Comité des Fêtes: a funfair all week long on Avenue Agoutin, a large flea market on Friday, May 1st, two café-théâtre performances by the Compagnie des Hermines (Friday evening and Sunday afternoon, at the Salle des Fêtes François des Garets) and a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday, May 2nd around 10:45 PM at the Norbert Batigne stadium.
Marolles en Fête 2026 — April 27 to May 3
For its 2026 edition, the Comité des Fêtes de Marolles-en-Hurepoix is renewing the extended format of the communal festival, spread over a week. This year, the culinary offering takes on a tropical flavor with rougail saucisse alongside classic sausages and fries, drinks, and coffee.
Funfair — Monday, April 27 to Sunday, May 3
On Avenue Agoutin, the funfair sets up for the entire week and accompanies all the festivities until Sunday, May 3.
Flea Market — Friday, May 1st, 6 AM - 6 PM
The big Marolles flea market opens the festivities on the public holiday, Labor Day. From 6 AM on Avenue Agoutin, bargain hunters and collectors set up for a day of entertainment and second-hand goods. Prior registration is mandatory with the Comité des Fêtes. Please note: the chemin and passage des Minés will be closed for the day.
Café-théâtre by the Compagnie des Hermines — Friday, May 1st at 8 PM
The Compagnie des Hermines, a loyal local troupe invited by the Comité des Fêtes, gives its first performance at the Salle des Fêtes François des Garets in the early evening.
Fireworks Display — Saturday, May 2nd at 10:45 PM
The highlight of the weekend: the fireworks display is launched from the Norbert Batigne stadium at dusk, around 10:45 PM. The show is visible from the stadium and surrounding gardens.
Charity Café-théâtre — Sunday, May 3rd at 3 PM
Second performance by the Compagnie des Hermines, this time for the benefit of Restos du Cœur. A charity collection is organized on site: spectators are invited to bring food and hygiene products for Restos du Cœur.
