Medieval weekend at the Château de Selles-sur-Cher
The Medieval Festival and Market of Selles-sur-Cher is a living history event organized every year in June by the association Les Compagnons de Philippe de Béthune within the walls of the Château de Selles-sur-Cher. For two days, the castle and its courtyards are transformed into a medieval encampment with four recreated camps, an artisan market, choreographed combat shows, and initiations to archery, stick fencing, and axe throwing. Visitors discover medieval cuisine, medicine, and crafts in an exceptional heritage setting on the banks of the Cher.
