- Knight shows and armored combat
- Activities for children: medieval games, archery, sword fighting initiation
- Fireworks over the Etang des Fontaines to close the festival
The Etang des Fontaines, an Exceptional Setting
The Etang des Fontaines, a vast body of water surrounded by greenery, offers an idyllic setting for this event. The reflections on the water, the ancient trees, and the tranquility of the place create a magical atmosphere, especially during the closing fireworks which are reflected on the surface of the water.
Tourouvre-au-Perche, Land of History
The commune of Tourouvre-au-Perche is known for its historical link with Canada: in the 17th century, many Percherons left Tourouvre to colonize New France. The Museum of French Emigration to Canada bears witness to this history. The medieval festival is part of this tradition of highlighting local historical heritage.
