About Médoc Environment, Forestry, and Crafts Festival
The FEFOMM (Médoc Environment, Forest, and Woodworking Festival) brings together forestry professionals, local associations, and Médoc residents in Carcans-Maubuisson every year to celebrate the forest and its local economy. The event is organized by the Carcans Fête la Forêt association with the support of the municipality and regional partners. - 7:00 PM — Thematic conference on the forest-wood sector's commitment to sustainable resource management, featuring FI BOIS Landes de Gascogne, the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications, and France Travail · L'Estran hall, Maubuisson (free admission)
Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th
- Festive weekend open to families, with activities and exhibitions
- Saturday, 8:30 PM — Concert and dance party with the band La Moutchica, featuring cumbia, salsa, and Latin-Médoc music · Maubuisson hub, Carcans

The forestry and woodworking hub is located at the Maubuisson center in Carcans. A free shuttle bus serves various Médoc towns for the event (including Carcans, Brach, Lacanau, Saint-Hélène, Salaunes, Castelnau-de-Médoc, Saint-Laurent-Médoc, Listrac-Médoc, Lesparre-Médoc, Vendays-Montalivet, Naujac-sur-Mer, Hourtin, and others upon request), with two transport slots available in the morning and afternoon.
