International graffiti comes to Brittany

The Meeting of Styles in Paimpol is the French iteration of the international Meeting of Styles network, one of the largest graffiti gatherings in the world, founded in Germany in 2002. Organized by the TSF collective, the event was first held in Paimpol in 2023, in this coastal town in Côtes-d'Armor nestled in the heart of the bay of Paimpol. The choice of Paimpol, far from the usual major street art metropolises, offers a striking contrast between contemporary urban art and Breton maritime heritage.

Over 70 artists from around the world

Each edition brings together over 70 graffiti artists from around the world. For three days, they paint live on the facades and walls of popular neighborhoods in Paimpol, transforming the city into an open-air gallery. The festival celebrates the essence of authentic graffiti: the art of lettering, the energy of collaborative murals, and the freedom of artistic expression. Visitors can watch the artists at work and interact with them throughout the weekend.

Hip-hop evenings on the port

In addition to the painting sessions, the Meeting of Styles offers hip-hop evenings on the port, facing the sea. Concerts, DJ sets, jam sessions, and presentations by hip-hop creators liven up the Friday and Saturday evenings. The festive and relaxed atmosphere blends urban culture with a maritime setting in a spirit of conviviality and sharing.
