The name "Millesources" refers to the Millevaches plateau, a region of springs and rivers from which the Dordogne originates. This traveling festival offers concerts of classical music, jazz, world music, and contemporary creations in the region's churches and heritage sites.

The programming of the Millesources & Dordogne Festival is resolutely eclectic, exploring classical music in all its forms. The 2024 edition offered a musical journey "from classical to contemporary, from tango to gypsy, with inspirations from Asia or the Maghreb". The festival hosts baroque music ensembles, chamber orchestras, soloists, jazz groups, world music bands... This diversity allows it to reach a wide audience and introduce varied repertoires.

Concerts in Churches and Heritage Sites

The concerts of the Millesources Festival mainly take place in the churches of the towns of Haute-Dordogne, offering a quality acoustic and heritage setting. In Ussel, the festival kicked off in 2024 with an opening at the restaurant "Côté Lac" at 5:30 PM, followed by a concert at 9 PM in the church with Brassisim'O. Other concerts took place in Neuvic, Saint-Martin-la-Méanne, and many other towns in the area, creating a true summer musical tour.
