Montesquiou on the Rock's: Rock in the Village
Montesquiou on the Rock's is an unusual festival that makes this small Gascon village vibrate to the sound of independent rock every end of summer. Entirely free, it offers two evenings of concerts with international bands in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere.
International Lineup
The festival attracts bands from all over the world: garage rock, psychedelic, punk, indie. The Warlocks, The Molotovs, Ian Kay, Nestter Donuts have been among the invited artists. The lineup favors discovery and rock energy.
Beyond the Concerts
The festival also offers lively DJ sets, an open-air cinema, a mini record fair, and original stalls. Meals are served in the heart of the village, in a rock village festival atmosphere.
Free and Participatory
Admission is free, but public participation is welcome to ensure the sustainability of this 100% volunteer event.

The 19th edition of Montesquiou on the Rock's takes place on August 21 and 22, 2026, in the heart of the village of Montesquiou (Gers). A rock festival that is always free, with an international lineup blending garage, punk, electro punk, and psychedelic rock.
Montesquiou on the Rock's 2026 — 19th Edition
On August 21 and 22, 2026, the village of Montesquiou hosts the 19th edition of its rock festival, organized by passionate volunteers. Two days of free concerts, with a resolutely international lineup (Spain, United Kingdom, Turkey/Germany, Mexico, France) featuring 60's garage punk, hardcore punk, electro punk, and psychedelic garage rock.
The festival remains free: the organization relies on the public to support the on-site refreshment stand and catering.
