MotorFest 2026: The 1st edition at Sury-le-Comtal castle

MotorFest inaugurates its very first edition on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026 in the prestigious setting of the Sury-le-Comtal castle park, in the Loire. Organized by the MotorFest association, created in November 2025, the event offers two days of festivities combining automotive passion and live music, with a rich and eclectic program. Doors open at 11 am on both days, with a 500 m² marquee installed to enjoy the celebration even in case of rain.

Saturday, June 6, 2026

Saturday's day starts at 11 am with the opening of the automotive exhibition village. The musical program follows from the afternoon:

• 2:00 PM — Mister Renaud: a tribute to Renaud created in 2016, with a live show of more than 40 songs performed by up to 6 musicians
• 4:00 PM — Spirit Bloom: a tribute to Nirvana, delving into the band's timeless grunge universe with remarkable fidelity and raw energy
• 6:00 PM — Ingalawash: a rock band with punk accents from Puy-en-Velay, formed in 2011, claiming a Vellave identity and overflowing stage energy
• 8:00 PM — Manau (headliner): the emblematic duo of French Celtic rap, founded in 1998, ignites the stage with their legendary hits, including « La Tribu de Dana »
• 10:00 PM — Frag Dog: a tribute to Shaka Ponk, reproducing the band's explosive mix of electro, funk, and rock with stage energy faithful to the original

On Sunday, the festival continues from 11 am with vehicle exhibitions and a pop-rock and cover-oriented musical program:

• 11:30 AM — Joyed: a female duo from Saint-Étienne offering a festive international pop repertoire, ideal for singing and dancing
• 1:00 PM — Power of Equality: a quartet from Saint-Étienne paying tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, covering their repertoire from the 1980s to today
• 2:30 PM — Englishman In New York: a French tribute to Sting & The Police, revisiting the greatest hits in live and modern versions mixing rock, pop, reggae, and jazz
• 4:30 PM — Les Naufragés: a cult band navigating between rock and popular Breton song for nearly 38 years, renowned for their live energy and their « stories / travels / sea » universe

Vehicles, local produce, and entertainment

Beyond engines and music, MotorFest is also a place for conviviality and discovery of local produce. Vintage and collector cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, and recent vehicles are exhibited in the castle park. Stands of local producers, food trucks, a bar, and a VIP area punctuate the festival village. Various activities animate the two days, making MotorFest a family-friendly and festive event accessible to all.

Access

MotorFest takes place at the Parc du Château, Rue du Château, 42450 Sury-le-Comtal (Loire). The site is located west of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, a few minutes from Montbrison.
