A Festival Born from Automotive and Musical Passion
MotorFest was born in 2026 from the desire of a handful of enthusiasts from Sury-le-Comtal, united within the MotorFest association created in November 2025. Their idea: to organize a festive and popular event blending the world of engines with live music, in an exceptional heritage site. The park of the Château de Sury-le-Comtal, a Renaissance gem in the heart of the Forez plain, offers a setting that is both majestic and convivial to host this unique gathering in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Vehicles of All Eras to Admire
At MotorFest, all engines are celebrated. Visitors can discover classic and collector cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, and modern vehicles, carefully displayed in the castle park. Between the exhibition aisles, the atmosphere is one of discovery and sharing among enthusiasts, with opportunities for exchange around rare or iconic models.
An Outdoor Stage at the Foot of the Castle
The Château de Sury-le-Comtal transforms for a weekend into an open-air stage. The music program features rock, tribute bands, and covers, with a 100% festival atmosphere. On Saturday evening, headliner Manau electrifies the stage with their hits blending rap and Celtic sounds. Tributes honoring Nirvana, Shaka Ponk, The Police, and Red Hot Chili Peppers complete an eclectic and festive lineup.
Local Produce, Conviviality, and Activities
Beyond engines and music, MotorFest is also a place for conviviality and discovering local produce. Stands from local producers, food trucks, a bar, and a VIP area dot the festival village. Various activities punctuate the two days, making MotorFest a family-friendly and festive event accessible to all.

MotorFest 2026: The 1st Edition at the Château de Sury-le-Comtal
MotorFest inaugurates its very first edition on June 6 and 7, 2026, in the prestigious setting of the park of the Château de Sury-le-Comtal. The event offers two days of festivities combining automotive passion and live music, with a rich and eclectic program.
Saturday, June 6
Saturday begins at 11 AM with the opening of the automotive exhibition village. The music program builds throughout the day:
- Mister Renaud — Tribute to Renaud, created in 2016, with a live show of over 40 songs performed by up to 6 musicians
- Spirit Bloom — Tribute to Nirvana, delving into the timeless grunge universe of the band with remarkable fidelity and raw energy
- Ingalawash — A punk-infused rock band from Puy-en-Velay, formed in 2011, claiming a local identity and overflowing stage energy
- Frag Dog — Tribute to Shaka Ponk, reproducing the explosive mix of electro, funk, and rock of the band with stage energy faithful to the original
- Manau — Saturday night headliner (from 10 PM), the iconic French Celtic rap duo electrifies the stage with their legendary hits
Sunday, June 7
On Sunday, the festival continues from 11 AM with vehicle exhibitions and a music program focused on pop-rock and covers:
- Joyed — A female duo from Saint-Étienne offering a festive international pop repertoire, ideal for singing and dancing
- Power of Equality — A quartet from Saint-Étienne paying tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, covering their repertoire from the 1980s to today
- Englishman In New York — A French tribute to Sting & The Police, revisiting the British artist's greatest hits in live and modern versions
- Les Naufragés — A band navigating between rock and Breton folk songs for nearly 38 years, known for their live energy and their "stories / journeys / sea" universe

MotorFest takes place at the Parc du Château, Rue du Château, 42450 Sury-le-Comtal (Loire). The site is located west of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, a few minutes from Montbrison.
