MotorFest — edition 2026
1st edition of MotorFest on June 6 and 7, 2026, at the Sury-le-Comtal castle park (Loire). Two days of festival combining vehicle exhibitions (vintage cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, recent vehicles), live concerts with Manau headlining on Saturday evening, tributes to Nirvana (Spirit Bloom), Shaka Ponk (Frag Dog), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Power of Equality) and Sting & The Police (Englishman In New York), local producer stands, food trucks, VIP area and entertainment. A 500 m² marquee will be installed in case of rain. Free for children under 12.
MotorFest 2026: The 1st edition at Sury-le-Comtal castle
MotorFest inaugurates its very first edition on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026 in the prestigious setting of the Sury-le-Comtal castle park, in the Loire. Organized by the MotorFest association, created in November 2025, the event offers two days of festivities combining automotive passion and live music, with a rich and eclectic program. Doors open at 11 am on both days, with a 500 m² marquee installed to enjoy the celebration even in case of rain.
Saturday, June 6, 2026
Saturday's day starts at 11 am with the opening of the automotive exhibition village. The musical program follows from the afternoon:
- 2:00 PM — Mister Renaud: a tribute to Renaud created in 2016, with a live show of more than 40 songs performed by up to 6 musicians
- 4:00 PM — Spirit Bloom: a tribute to Nirvana, delving into the band's timeless grunge universe with remarkable fidelity and raw energy
- 6:00 PM — Ingalawash: a rock band with punk accents from Puy-en-Velay, formed in 2011, claiming a Vellave identity and overflowing stage energy
- 8:00 PM — Manau (headliner): the emblematic duo of French Celtic rap, founded in 1998, ignites the stage with their legendary hits, including « La Tribu de Dana »
- 10:00 PM — Frag Dog: a tribute to Shaka Ponk, reproducing the band's explosive mix of electro, funk, and rock with stage energy faithful to the original

On Sunday, the festival continues from 11 am with vehicle exhibitions and a pop-rock and cover-oriented musical program:
- 11:30 AM — Joyed: a female duo from Saint-Étienne offering a festive international pop repertoire, ideal for singing and dancing
- 1:00 PM — Power of Equality: a quartet from Saint-Étienne paying tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, covering their repertoire from the 1980s to today
- 2:30 PM — Englishman In New York: a French tribute to Sting & The Police, revisiting the greatest hits in live and modern versions mixing rock, pop, reggae, and jazz
- 4:30 PM — Les Naufragés: a cult band navigating between rock and popular Breton song for nearly 38 years, renowned for their live energy and their « stories / travels / sea » universe
Vehicles, local produce, and entertainment
Beyond engines and music, MotorFest is also a place for conviviality and discovery of local produce. Vintage and collector cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, and recent vehicles are exhibited in the castle park. Stands of local producers, food trucks, a bar, and a VIP area punctuate the festival village. Various activities animate the two days, making MotorFest a family-friendly and festive event accessible to all.

MotorFest takes place at the Parc du Château, Rue du Château, 42450 Sury-le-Comtal (Loire). The site is located west of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, a few minutes from Montbrison.

A Festival Born from Automotive and Musical Passion
MotorFest was born in 2026 from the desire of a handful of enthusiasts from Sury-le-Comtal, united within the MotorFest association created in November 2025. Their idea: to organize a festive and popular event blending the world of engines with live music, in an exceptional heritage site. The park of the Château de Sury-le-Comtal, a Renaissance gem in the heart of the Forez plain, offers a setting that is both majestic and convivial to host this unique gathering in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Vehicles of All Eras to Admire
At MotorFest, all engines are celebrated. Visitors can discover classic and collector cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, and modern vehicles, carefully displayed in the castle park. Between the exhibition aisles, the atmosphere is one of discovery and sharing among enthusiasts, with opportunities for exchange around rare or iconic models.
An Outdoor Stage at the Foot of the Castle
The Château de Sury-le-Comtal transforms for a weekend into an open-air stage. The music program features rock, tribute bands, and covers, with a 100% festival atmosphere. On Saturday evening, headliner Manau electrifies the stage with their hits blending rap and Celtic sounds. Tributes honoring Nirvana, Shaka Ponk, The Police, and Red Hot Chili Peppers complete an eclectic and festive lineup.
