Jazz at the heart of the Vallée d'Avre

Born in 2019 from the desire of the association Saint-Lubin en Jazz and the municipality of Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets, Music en Avre has quickly established itself as a major musical event in Eure-et-Loir. Integrated into the Spedidam network, the festival benefits from support that allows it to feature national-level programming, mixing jazz, French chanson, and world music.

Two stages, two atmospheres

The originality of Music en Avre lies in its two-stage format. The paid evening stage hosts headliners in a quality concert setting. For its first edition in 2019, the festival featured Rhoda Scott, Michel Jonasz, and Thomas Dutronc, three major artists on the French jazz and variety scene. The free afternoon stage allows the public to discover emerging artists and local bands in a relaxed atmosphere.

A festive village driven by volunteers

Some 80 volunteers mobilize each year to bring the festival to life. The Music en Avre village offers a catering area with food trucks and a bar, entertainment for all ages, as well as stalls from artisans and partners. The fireworks display on Saturday evening, fired after the main stage concerts, is one of the highlights of each edition.

Strong territorial roots

Located in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets, a dynamic town in the Avre valley on the edge of Drouais, the festival contributes to the cultural animation and tourist appeal of this rural area. The support of the town, the agglomeration of Pays de Dreux, and institutional partners demonstrates the importance of this event for local life. Each edition attracts a family and music-loving audience, loyal and curious, who come to enjoy a weekend of quality music in a green setting.
