About Music Festival in Beaucaire
Every June 21, Beaucaire, a historic city in the Gard on the banks of the Rhône, celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local groups, and invited artists play for free in the streets, squares, and on the terraces of cafes and restaurants. Organized by the City of Beaucaire in partnership with local businesses, the evening is entirely free and open to everyone.

As everywhere in France since 1982, every June 21, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Beaucaire into an open-air stage to celebrate the summer solstice and the shortest night of the year. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until late at night, in all genres and for all audiences.

Usually, the City of Beaucaire and local businesses team up to offer numerous musical events in the old town center: open-air stages in the squares, concerts on the terraces of partner cafes and restaurants, and proposals from associations and the music school. From gypsy jazz to pop, world music to electronic music, styles mingle throughout the streets.
