Every June 21, Bergerac celebrates the Fête de la Musique: open-air stages, brass bands, the conservatory, and free concerts take over the city center and the banks of the Dordogne. From Quai Cyrano to the squares of the historic heart, the day blends all genres, from classical to festive, and remains entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Bergerac
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Bergerac into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from midday until the heart of the night, in all styles and for all audiences. Bars, restaurants, and city center terraces also participate by organizing their own concerts.

The festival unfolds in Bergerac's historic center and along the banks of the Dordogne. The Quai Cyrano, on the riverbanks, hosts open-air concerts, while a dedicated stage spotlights the Conservatoire de Bergerac, local orchestras, and brass bands. Genres coexist without hierarchy: classical music, symphonic pop, festive brass bands, and song.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Bergerac will take place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge in the city center and along the banks of the Dordogne. Open-air concerts at Quai Cyrano, the Conservatoire stage, and bandas will liven up the day, from midday until evening.

- 7 PM - 7:45 PM: the Banda du Trèfle accompanies students from Orchestres à l'École.

Festive evening in the venue's two outdoor courtyards, open to all.
