About Music Festival in Décines-Charpieu
Every June 21, Décines-Charpieu celebrates the Fête de la Musique: musicians and singers, both professional and amateur, take turns on stage for free until the heart of the night. For the 2026 edition, the city offers a festive and family-friendly evening from 5 PM to midnight, mixing world music, brass bands, and electro, concluding with fireworks. Organized by the City of Décines-Charpieu, the day is entirely free.
The Fête de la Musique in Décines-Charpieu
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms public spaces into open-air stages every June 21. In Décines-Charpieu, a commune in the east of the Lyon Metropolis, the municipality organizes a large free and family-friendly musical evening, featuring local artists, professional musicians, and city associations.
A festive evening culminating in fireworks
For the 2026 edition, the program runs from 5 PM to midnight with a succession of concerts covering various styles: afro-electro and world music, piano-voice-percussion, swing brass band, electro brassband, and DJ sets. The evening concludes at midnight with fireworks. Light refreshments on site will accompany the public throughout the event.
