Every June 21st, Draveil celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local bands, and guest artists play for free in the city's streets and squares. Several open-air stages are set up in the center, from early evening until late at night, to celebrate the first day of summer with music. The day is entirely free and open to all.
The Fête de la Musique in Draveil
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Draveil, in Essonne, into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces to celebrate the shortest night of the year and the beginning of summer, in all styles and for all audiences.
