The Fête de la Musique in Firminy

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique celebrates the arrival of summer by bringing music to the public and to the streets. In Firminy, in the Loire, the City is organizing a big free evening under the sign of sharing and conviviality, with a festive and intergenerational program in the heart of the city.

An evening at Place du Breuil

The heart of the festival beats at Place du Breuil, which vibrates to the rhythm of a general public program. The evening features several musical highlights, from tributes to great singing voices to an artist revealed on television, to sing and dance together at the beginning of summer in a warm atmosphere.

The celebration continues throughout June and July with the « Terrasses en Fête » (Terraces in Celebration) events: free concerts organized on the terraces of the city's partner cafes and bars, offering varied styles (rock, electro, reggae, and others) for all tastes.
