From the Moulin district to the Jardin de la Paix, the day combines music, dance, and entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere, entirely free.
The Fête de la Musique in Halluin
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique takes over public spaces in Halluin every June 21. The city adapts the national event into a "Fête des Arts en Musique" (Festival of Arts in Music) that brings together local talents — music schools, municipal harmony orchestra, accordionists, dance groups, and associations — for a day of free open-air concerts.
A festival spread across several districts
The activities are spread across several sites in the commune. The Moulin district, rue de l'Abbé-Lemire, hosts the main stage and workshops for children; the Jardin de la Paix opens the day in a friendly atmosphere with an interclub picnic and an aperitif concert; the Altitude community center, in the Cité du Vieux Moulin, and Le Rallye café, rue Gabriel Péri, complete the musical journey. You can hear the Schola orchestras, the Municipal Harmony Orchestra, the Halluin Accordionists, dance and song groups, in all styles.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Halluin will take place on Sunday, June 21, free of charge at several locations throughout the city. The program includes: concerts by the Schola orchestras, the Municipal Harmony Orchestra, the Halluin Accordionists, and local groups, from the Jardin de la Paix to the Moulin district, with dance and entertainment for the whole family.

Program by site announced for the 2026 edition:
Jardin de la Paix — from 11:30 AM
- 11:30 AM-12:30 PM: interclub picnic, vintage vehicle exhibition, and aperitif concert animated by the Halluin Accordionists.
- 2 PM-4 PM: concert by the MJC/CS music groups.
Le Moulin — rue de l'Abbé-Lemire, 3 PM-9 PM
Face painting stands for children, percussion initiation, theater improvisation, and light refreshments on site. On stage:
- 3:15 PM-4 PM: the Schola's Small Orchestra.
- 4:15 PM-4:30 PM: the Schola's Grand Orchestra.
- 4:45 PM-5:45 PM: the Municipal Harmony Orchestra.
- 6 PM-7 PM: the Bretons du Nord and their dancers.
- 7 PM-9:30 PM: singer and accordionist duo.
Foyer Altitude — cité du Vieux Moulin, 3 PM-4 PM
Concert by the Schola violinists.
Café Le Rallye — rue Gabriel Péri, 6 PM-7 PM
