Every June 21st, Hyères celebrates the Fête de la Musique in the city center and its neighborhoods: avenues, squares, the port, and the village of Giens transform into open-air stages. Organized by the City of Hyères, the day is entirely free and features a dialogue of song, reggae, world music, house, and dance covers, lasting late into the evening.
The Fête de la Musique in Hyères
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Hyères into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
A celebration spread throughout the city
The City of Hyères sets up several stages in the city center — on avenue Gambetta, place Clemenceau, avenue Général de Gaulle, avenue des Îles d'Or, and rue Massillon — and also enlivens its neighborhoods, from the port of Hyères to the village of Giens. Concerts by local groups stand alongside invited artists, and one moves from one stage to another according to genre: French pop song, urban reggae, world music, house, and dance covers.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Hyères takes place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge in the city center and neighborhoods. Several stages enliven the avenues and squares of the center, the port of Hyères, and the village of Giens, from late afternoon until the heart of the night.

Price: free admission to all stages.
Access: favor public transport and parking on the outskirts of the center, as traffic will be reorganized for the evening.
