About Music Festival in Limoges
Every June 21, Limoges celebrates the Fête de la Musique: more than fifty local groups freely take over the streets, squares, and neighborhoods of the city center, from early afternoon until the heart of the night. Jazz, French chanson, rock, rap, pop, reggae, electro, folk, world music, and dances coexist outdoors. The day is entirely free and open to all.

Where: throughout the city center of Limoges and in the municipalities of Limoges Métropole. Several main roads in the center (notably cours Jourdan, boulevard de la Corderie, rue Raspail, and rue Charseix) are usually closed to traffic.
Price: free admission.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Limoges into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from the afternoon until late at night, in all genres and for all audiences.
