Every June 21, Onet-le-Château celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): amateur musicians, music schools, and local bands play for free in the streets and squares of the town, at the gates of Rodez, in Aveyron. As everywhere in France, the day is entirely free and open to all.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Onet-le-Château into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from early evening until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
A festival in the heart of the city
From one year to the next, young and old can enjoy open-air concerts by local bands and guest artists: several stages are usually set up in the streets and squares of the Castonétoise commune, while bars and restaurants extend the celebration onto their terraces.
