Six free stages in the city center on June 21, 2026
Every June 21, Saint-Louis, the Alsatian city of the Three Borders, celebrates the Fête de la Musique: the city center transforms into an open-air stage, from afternoon until night. Organized by the City of Saint-Louis, the evening is entirely free and mixes rock, pop, funk, reggae, blues, and French chanson, featuring local and regional talents.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Saint-Louis every June 21, at the southern tip of Alsace and in the heart of the Three Borders agglomeration, into a major summer musical event. Amateurs and confirmed artists play for free in public spaces, from mid-afternoon until nightfall.
The 2026 edition features six stages and about twenty musical events in various emblematic locations in the city center, notably the Croisée-des-Lys, the Cité Danzas, and the Flaxhof park. The program is deliberately eclectic: rock, pop and funk, reggae and blues, French chanson, performed by regional groups. Bars and restaurants in the city extend the celebration with their own concerts, on terraces or inside their establishments.
Activities for young audiences are planned, and each stage offers refreshments and food to make the evening a friendly and family moment.
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Saint-Louis will take place on Sunday, June 21st, from 3 PM to 11 PM, free of charge in the city center. Six stages and about twenty musical events will animate the Croisée-des-Lys, the Cité Danzas, the Parc du Flaxhof, and other central locations, with a refreshment stand and catering on site.
